NATIONAL (VFB) – Bernie Sanders has taken a commanding lead over Hillary Clinton in Iowa, according to the latest CNN poll released today. Now with an eight point lead, Sanders is well past the margin of error and there’s no turning back. This just the latest proof that Americans are fed up with establishment politics, and that Hillary Clinton simply can’t beat Bernie Sanders.
Everyone who doesn’t work for the corporate media can see the writing on the wall. Bernie Sanders is skyrocketing past Hillary and she’ll never be able to catch back up. Here’s why:
Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy on April 12, 2015. Bernie Sanders entered the race on April 30.
Four weeks later (May 28, 2015), the first national Quinnipiac poll showed likely Democratic voters favoring Clinton 57, Sanders 15.
That was then, when the Clinton brand was well-known and Bernie Sanders was relatively unknown to most Americans. But by now, the more people are exposed to Bernie and learn about his policy positions, they realize him for the breath of fresh air that Hillary is not.
By last month, the same Quinnipiac showed Bernie beating Donald Trump by a wider margin than Hillary.
Everyone knows that no candidate can win the Democratic nomination without Iowa and New Hampshire, and Bernie Sanders now holds a commanding lead in both states.
Yesterday, CNN reported polling that put Sanders up 27 POINTS in New Hampshire.
And today, Bernie is now beating Hillary by 8 POINTS in Iowa.
In less than one year, Hillary Clinton has seen her massive lead dwindle to the point where she is now trailing Bernie Sanders in Iowa and New Hampshire. She will never catch back up because her numbers peaked long ago. The race was hers to lose, and she lost it. Bernie Sanders on the other hand has energized the spirit of the nation, and is leading a Political Revolution of this generation. Thanks to your hard work America, we will soon welcome our next President, Bernie Sanders! (and hopefully VP, Elizabeth Warren!) Keep up the good fight!
