From Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, Sanders can expect to face tough questions on his progressive policy ideas like Education and Medicare for All. Certainly brave, it is not only the right move for a future President –to continue to reach out to all Americans– but it is also a smart move, and a strategy used by President Obama himself.
As reported, “Last month, DNC Chairman Tom Perez announced that Fox News would not carry any of the Democratic Party’s primary debates, a decision which does not preclude individual candidates from appearing on the network.”
In 2008, then-Senator Barrack Obama also broke from the DNC and ended a boycott of FOX News.
As NPR reported in a story called “Obama Ends Fox News ‘Boycott,” “For two years, the Democratic presidential contender had refused invitations from the network. But now, Obama sees Fox as a way to reach socially conservative, blue-collar voters.”
