New Poll: Bernie Sanders tops Warren in MA, tied with Biden Nationally

NATIONAL VFB (April 7, 2019) — Massachusetts-based Emerson Polling just released polls of the 2020 election, and with 26% of support, Bernie Sanders is the top choice for Democrats in that state. Senator Elizabeth Warren came in third at just 14%.

Among young voters, Sanders is the runaway favorite. By far.

More than half of Massachusetts voters between the ages of 18-29 –52%– support the Vermont Senator. Other candidates don’t even come close, with O’Rourke at 15%, Warren 10%, and Biden 10%. Only voters between 50-64 showed preferences other than Sanders.

In a less-recent national poll, the Vermont Senator and former VP are statistically tied, each netting 26% of support from polled voters.

Emerson polling, which contacts voters online and through landline telephone, has proven quite accurate in the past. Polling site rated Emerson as the 2nd most accurate sampled poll of the 2016 election.

With these latest results, It appears that support for Sanders as the Democratic frontrunner is beginning to solidify, with ample time to spread his populist message in places not yet reached.
